Having a bird's eye view regarding the EuroMed's current status, we should not ignore the most irrefutable fact that during the span of probably 38 years of the European Union policy towards the Mediterranean conunteries, particulrly, the Southern Mediterranean Islamic counteries, there have been glaring European Union's policy reflections on the tacticle paradigm in the Middle east. True to their strategic interests, the European policy makers have been largely supporting the soft security doctrine in the Mediterranean region, yet nothing could have been so far gained as more productive and conducive to resolve the Arab- Israeli conflict- a policy touchstone of the European Union in this area.
